Tybee Island Winter

"A black and white film documentation shot all on a Nikonos V waterproof 35mm & a Mamiya RZ67 documenting a winter surfing on Tybee Island. My goal was to capture the rawness and power that the Atlantic Ocean can display in the Winters, this was my reason for using grainy b&w film and deep blacks. There is a beauty to Tybee Island in the winter and if you're lucky you can actually get some pretty decent surf, so I also wanted to capture these aspects to Tybee as well because although it's definitely cold, it's still the south.
