Located in the American Southeast, Savannah, GA is the oldest city in the state of Georgia. That being said it's hot, humid and the streets of the city have the texture of cheese graters. Still, there is a small, close-knit community of skateboarders in Savannah. I documented some of my closest friends and the common passion that we share in a place that is the antithesis of "Southern Hospitality" towards skateboarding. This project is intended to be more than photographs of the act of the skateboarding; but rather photographs of the intimate moments we have on and off our skateboards.
